Service Description

Silambam is a traditional South Indian martial art that uses the stick to develop coordination, agility, strength, and mental focus. This 8-week beginner workshop introduces the fundamentals of Silambam in a structured and accessible way. The training focuses on correct posture, footwork, hand coordination, and basic stick rotation techniques. Sessions are progressive, allowing students to build confidence, control, and rhythm at their own pace. This workshop is suitable for all age groups and fitness levels. No prior martial arts experience is required. Whether your goal is to improve physical fitness, learn a traditional art form, or develop better body awareness, this course provides a strong foundation in Silambam practice. What you will learn: • Basic Silambam stance and posture • Footwork and movement patterns • Stick grip and rotation techniques • Coordination, balance, and timing • Strength, flexibility, and focus through traditional training Who can join: Open to beginners of all ages and fitness levels.

However, we will provide material to help you practice the missed session at home. • If we cancel a class for any reason, we will arrange a makeup session or provide a pro-rata refund for the missed class. • Please note that payments will be automatically charged monthly for the duration of the program. • By enrolling, you agree to these terms and commit to the full duration of the course.
